Waltsoft Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CertPrep mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and optionally your name and email.
Usage Data: We collect quiz scores, test attempts, bookmarked questions, and certification preferences to provide personalized study experiences.
Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, transaction records are stored to verify your access to premium content. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.
Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Cognito, in the US East (Ohio) region. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AWS encryption.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted credential storage (iOS Keychain), AWS SigV4 request signing, and scoped IAM policies that restrict data access to your own records.
CertPrep is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
